Continuing its leadership in delivering Mobile CNG with the most advanced technologies
TAQA Arabia contracts to provide the necessary gas through CNG Mobile Technology to "Al Ahram Poultry" one of the largest poultry production companies in the Middle East
Cairo - May 2020 Master Gas Company –a subsidiary of TAQA Arabia contracts to provide the amount of gas required to operate the Cairo 3A Al-Ahram Poultry Slaughterhouse, considered as one of the pioneering companies in poultry production in the Middle East, using the “Mobile CNG” technology to transport compressed gas without the need to use the national gas network.
This becomes the fifth project of Master Gas since the launch of that service in 2018, and in line with the Egyptian Government plan to expand the usage of natural gas.
Pakinam Kafafi, CEO of TAQA Arabia, stated, "Master Gas is a subsidiary of TAQA Gas TAQA Arabia’s main gas arm, and is a pioneer in this field since 2018, and is considered the most active company in providing the Mobile CNG services in the Egyptian market. Master Gas offers advanced up to date solutions to connect compressed gas transported with the latest technologies in the world, which expands the use of natural gas in the remote areas that are currently off grid".
The "Mobile CNG" technology is an easy and safe way that meets the needs of industrial, hotel, residential resorts, or any other off-grid sector unreached yet by the natural gas national grid. This technology consists of transporting compressed gas through equipped vehicles to the areas of use without the need to build expensive pipelines.
Master Gas has already started providing this service to the hotel sector in November 2018 by operating several hotels in Hurghada and Safaga, after which the company began to provide its services to the industrial sector through the automatic slaughterhouse project for the Al-Ahram complex with an annual capacity of about 650 thousand cubic meters of gas. There are more than 30 new projects between hotels and industrial clients that will be finalized by the end of the current year. Master Gas is willing -through its equipped vehicles- to provide the service in all parts of the country and meet the needs of all the sectors such as residential blocks, factories and hotels, in addition to setting up mobile stations to supply cars with natural gas in any part of Egypt.
In this context, Eng. Khaled Abu Bakr, Executive Chairman of TAQA Arabia, added, "What Master Gas is doing supports and enhances the implementation of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources plan to expand the use of natural gas, in accordance with Egypt's 2030 strategy and vision and in conjunction with the state's plan to maximize returns". Abu Bakr added: “It also contributes to benefiting from the large natural gas discoveries in Egypt, in addition to saving the time, effort and exorbitant costs that the state was bearing in laying gas pipelines. this technology will also support the state in replacing gas as an alternative to the subsidized fuel in all uses".
